MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Rochester Area High School Band is to make a positive difference in the lives of our members through the study of music and exposure to the pageantry arts while preparing them to enter society with important life skills including character, confidence, cooperation, dedication, determination, discipline, leadership, and time management.

 GOALS

The goals of the Rochester Area High School Band are:

• For each member to receive the highest level of quality music instruction.
• For each member to develop a personal quest for excellence.  
• For each member to develop the highest levels of individual proficiency and artistic sensitivity to enhance the overall ensemble level of quality.
• For each member to develop a lifelong appreciation of music and the arts.
• For each member to develop pride through performing at events which entertain and culturally educate members of the community.
